I longed for movement and spent my youth dancing in my living room, in a ballet studio and on stages, where rhythm, body awareness and expression found their roots.
I longed for water and wind, worked on Frisian sailboats, graduated in Curaçao, and lived on a houseboat with a captain, with whom I had children. The water taught me how to be flexible, even in headwinds.
I longed for the quiet behind the scenes, building sets, operating follow spots and guiding theatre productions across different companies. The theater taught me how to observe without being seen.
I longed for the visual, became a film editor, studied at the Photo Academy, fell in love with a cameraman, developed therapeutic visualizations and found deep connections during nature photo sessions.
I longed for softness and self-care, walked daily, practiced Pilates, yoga and meditation, immersed myself in cognitive and energetic therapies, joined retreats, a mystery school, women’s circles and guided others in their personal growth.
I longed for the physical, trained in traditional Chinese medicine techniques and Western medical fields, offering massage therapy in my own practice and now working in various places to support people in release and relaxation.
Currently, I long for simplicity, to enjoy and support my loved ones, safeguard our health, be nurtured by nature, let abundance and creativity grow playfully and to stay open to mystical encounters.
Magnetism in motion,
